Arashi’s new album has only been on sale in Japan for less than 24 hours, but it has already sold more than 275,000 copies, reports Oricon.

“僕の見ている風景 (Boku no Miteiru Fukei)” has surpassed the first day sales record set by last year’s “All the BEST! 1999 – 2009”, which was the 261,000 records.  Oricon has reported that it is possible the group’s latest album will also set a new personal weekly sales record, which currently stands at 753,000 copies for their Best album.

The new album is Arashi’s first original album since “Dream “A”live”, which was released more than two years ago.  It features the singles “Everything”, “マイガール (My Girl)”, “Troublemaker” and “Monster”, and 16 other songs including their group drama “最後の約束 (Saigo no Yakusoku)” theme song “空高く (Sora Takaku)”, and several solo songs.
