From 2pm Japan time (right now as I write), a public viewing event for Arashi’s Kazunari Ninomiya’s (27) upcoming movie “GANTZ” has begun, and film staff have been tweeting about it live, reports RBB Today.

Staff members have been tweeting about preparations for today’s production report conference in central Tokyo, and still are as the event goes on.

“Wariko here.  Lead actors Ninomiya-san and Matsuyama-san have just given their fiery comments” (Tweeted at 14:20 local time)

“This is SatoP.  The conference is about to start!  I’m backstage now.  Oh, I still haven’t figured out what I’m going to say” (Tweeted at 14:04 local time)

“Publicity desk Akito here.  The sound field has been opened up.  There are already a huge number of journalists coming in.  Everyone, please don’t forget to stay hydrated!!  And it’s not starting for a while so please rest in the shade” (Tweeted at 13:15 local time)

“This is publicity desk Mack here.  Doing the first video check of the day.  Eh!  Can we show this much? Oops, being called out again.  I hope I can watch it later” (Tweeted 12:15 local time)

“GANTZ” is a live action movie based on the popular manga series of the same name.  The two main characters are played by Arashi’s Ninomiya and Kenichi Matsuyama (25).

The movie will be shown in two parts, both of which will be played in theaters in 2011.
