SMAP’s Takuya Kimura (37) will air the full version of Aerosmith’s frontman Steven Tyler’s first solo song on his radio, the first to do so in the world, reports music website BARKS.

“LOVE LIVES” is the theme song to Kimura’s upcoming movie “SPACE BATTLESHIP ヤマト (Yamato)”, and was written specifically for the movie by Tyler himself.

It has been reported Kimura has been a longtime Aerosmith fan, and had from time to time aired the group’s songs on his TOKYO FM radio show “木村拓哉のWHAT’S UP SMAP!”.

“I wanted to be faster than everyone else in giving my listeners a chance to listen to it before the movie’s December 1 release!

“When I first heard it, it gave me goosebumps from start to finish,” Kimura said.

Steven Tyler’s “LOVE LIVES” single will be released on November 24.  The complete song will be aired on Kimura’s radio show on October 1 after 11pm.
