Johnny’s trucks and power-supply vehicles which were meant for concerts are now on their way to help earthquake and tsunami victims in north-eastern Japan, reports Daily Sports Online and Chunichi Sports.

After getting in touch with local authorities on March 16, the agency had gotten a response on March 17 asking them that their help was needed.

A 300-kilowatt power vehicle which was meant to be used for Tomohisa Yamashita’s concert in Hokkaido is making its way to the disaster zone.  It has been reported that it could provide electricity for 80 to 100 homes.

2000 litres of diesel fuel will also be delivered to Iwate prefecture.

It has been reported an 11-ton truck is on its way to Shizuoka to pick up water supplies before making its way to north-eastern Japan.
