Fan club members and non-members will have the chance to take part in SMAP’s two-day fan event at Tokyo Dome in November, it was revealed by their agency on October 6, reports Sankei Sports and BARKS.

A total of 110,000 fans are expected to come to the November 12 and 13 “祝20周年!(Celebrating 20 years!) SMAP FaN x FuN PARTY 2011” event in Tokyo.

“It being SMAP’s 20th birthday, and as a way to thank our fans, we hope we can make this the best party,” Tsuyoshi Kusanagi said.

The group had held a total of eight fan events in four cities across Japan over the summer, attracting about 20,000 fan club members, and a 20th birthday event in September, which drew another 10,000 fans.  But it has been reported a large number of fans still missed out, and so another event had been drawn up for those fans, and fans not part of the group’s fan club.

Information about ticket sales to the general public will be revealed on the October 24 episode of the group’s TV show SMAP x SMAP.
