Rumour has it Johnny’s is not happy about Leo Akanishi uploading a photo of him hanging out with Kanjani8’s Ryo Nishikido and ex-Johnny’s talent Hironori Kusano, reports Johnny’s Watcher.
Gekiura! Geino Japan reports the Twitter photo uploaded on September 4 shows Leo with his friends, two of who look very much like Nishikido and Kusano.
“I’ve heard that the executives at Johnny’s are really mad, and that they’ve asked Akanishi to tell his brother to delete the photo. But Nishikido’s photo is still on the internet because Leo thinks he doesn’t have to delete it if it’s on his own personal account. With his movie in trouble, a shotgun wedding, and this, Jin Akanishi’s Johnny’s career might be over now,” one popstar magazine editor said.
Johnny’s have a strict rule against publishing any unofficial photos of their talents. But it has been reported the photo might have been uploaded deliberately to help ex-NEWS member and former Johnny’s talent Kusano. A few days ago, Kusano had launched his website, and he also belongs to an agency set up by people with connections to Akanishi. It could be possible the photo was a publicity stunt.
But either way, it is very possible Jin Akanishi will get punished in some way. Even if the agency does not fire him, is it too much to say Akanishi might start thinking about leaving the agency himself?
“KAT-TUN’s Taguchi-san came shopping today,” started the tweet.
But the news hasn’t sparked any talk on the internet, and it may be because the clothing line acted quickly and apologised before any gossip could start spreading, reports J-CAST News.
Around mid-January a shop attendant in a BEAMS clothing shop in Tokyo tweeted about Taguchi’s shopping trip.
“本日カトゥーンの田口さんがお買い物に来て下さったらしいけど、正直どうでもよすぎるねって亀梨君ならねって先輩と話してて、 でも終わったら20万円代のまとめ買いだったらしく、予算に貢献して下さってた笑 ありがとうございます”
“KAT-TUN’s Taguchi-san came shopping today, but he was talking to one of my seniors about how, ‘honestly, I couldn’t care less’ and, ‘if it were Kamenashi-kun’, but in the end he apparently spent more than 200,000 yen so thank you for contributing to our budget, lol.” (translation)
The tweet has since been deleted, but judging by the tweets about it, it seems like Taguchi went shopping last Tuesday night (January 10).
It has been reported several people had complained about the tweet, saying it revealed private information about Taguchi, and another asking the shop attendant to stop making fun of him.
As well as deleting the tweet, BEAMS has released a statement on their website on January 12, apologising for the incident. It also says the company will carry out a harsh punishment for the employee in question.
It has been reported the shop attendant was simply using Twitter as a way to chat with a friend, and did not realise how visible the tweet would be to everyone on the internet.
Haruna Kojima confessed she tweeted “Tegoshi” by mistake, the pop star said during yesterday’s AKB48 concert in Tokyo, reports Oricon.
During the July 10 concert, group member Minami Minegishi made the audience rustle when she stepped on stage and said, “Tegoshi”.
“It’s made the top news on Yahoo!(Japan), what is this?
“We can’t concentrate today.”
Haruna had been reported to have responded by saying she was replying to a text her friend had sent her, but accidentally sent the message to her twitter feed instead.
“My friend sent me a text saying, ‘Tegoshi looks cool in his new commercial’, and I just made a mistake when I tried to reply.
“It’s no big deal,” she said.
When a member of Japan’s top girl band tweeted “Tegoshi” on Twitter, it set off a bomb in cyberspace.
Just after 1pm on July 8, AKB48’s Haruna Kojima (22) had tweeted a short message only saying “手越 (Tegoshi)”.
Assuming it could only mean NEWS’ Yuya Tegoshi (22), the tweet triggered a flood of fan comments. Although the tweet was deleted within minutes, the comments still remain:
“なにこのつぶやき(What is this tweet)”
“これ、何だったんだろ？RT@kojiharunyan 手越 (What was this?)”
“誰かのいたずら？(Is it a prank?)”
“え、ちょ、こじはるしゃんｗｗ RT: @kojiharunyan: 手越 (Huh, what, Haruna lol)”
“この発言はるにゃんにとってやばいんじゃ… RT @kojiharunyan: 手越 (Won’t this have a bad effect on Haruna…)”
“手越と付き合っていたのかぁ(´・ω・`)(´・ω・`)(´・ω・`) (Is she dating Tegoshi)”
While some fans have said it confirms last year’s rumours that the two had been seeing one another, other fans have said the tweet could simply be a typing mistake.
Some fan blogs have reported Haruna had simply tried to tweet “戸越銀座なう(Now at Togoshi Ginza)”, but had mis-typed “戸越 (Togoshi)” for “手越 (Tegoshi)”.
Other explanations being reported across the net have been that Haruna had mixed up her email with her Twitter account. Because Japanese mobile phones come with a feature to upload tweets via emails, Haruna could have been emailing someone but accidentally sent it to her twitter feed.
