Johnny’s senior hopes for the best for Jin Akanishi

Johnny’s senior talent Masahiko Kondo sent his congratulations to Jin Akanishi on September 24, reports Chunichi Sports.

 

Akanishi and his wife, actress Meisa Kuroki, had a baby girl on September 23.  It has been reported during an interview in Tokyo, Kondo, who also has a 4-year-old son, said he had some advice for Akanishi about being a father.

“Kids are really cute.  Just seeing them makes your worries go away.  I don’t think you need to put more pressure on yourself, it’s okay to do things at your own pace.”

 

Kondo also said he would like to encourage Akanishi to keep doing what he wants to do, even after all the drama so far with leaving KAT-TUN, going to the USA, a cancelled concert tour, and a blank work schedule.

“I chose to start a racing career, and I’m still involved in it.  You can get through it if you concentrate on your work and have faith in your fans and your supporters.  Your wife and children are on your side, you’ll be alright.”

Jin Akanishi might get in trouble for photo his brother uploaded to Twitter

Rumour has it Johnny’s is not happy about Leo Akanishi uploading a photo of him hanging out with Kanjani8’s Ryo Nishikido and ex-Johnny’s talent Hironori Kusano, reports Johnny’s Watcher.

 

Gekiura! Geino Japan reports the Twitter photo uploaded on September 4 shows Leo with his friends, two of who look very much like Nishikido and Kusano.

“I’ve heard that the executives at Johnny’s are really mad, and that they’ve asked Akanishi to tell his brother to delete the photo.  But Nishikido’s photo is still on the internet because Leo thinks he doesn’t have to delete it if it’s on his own personal account.  With his movie in trouble, a shotgun wedding, and this, Jin Akanishi’s Johnny’s career might be over now,” one popstar magazine editor said.

 

Johnny’s have a strict rule against publishing any unofficial photos of their talents.  But it has been reported the photo might have been uploaded deliberately to help ex-NEWS member and former Johnny’s talent Kusano.  A few days ago, Kusano had launched his website, and he also belongs to an agency set up by people with connections to Akanishi.  It could be possible the photo was a publicity stunt.

 

But either way, it is very possible Jin Akanishi will get punished in some way.  Even if the agency does not fire him, is it too much to say Akanishi might start thinking about leaving the agency himself?

Is Jin Akanishi heading for disaster?

Another movie delay and leaked photos of his wife with another Johnny’s talent, rumour has it Jin Akanishi’s future is clouded, reports Cyzowoman on September 4.

 

It has been reported Akanishi’s upcoming movie 47 RONIN was supposed to be released in the US this November, but has since been delayed twice because of financial issues, having to re-shoot scenes with lead actor Keanu Reeves, and technical delays in processing the movie’s 3D effects.  At the moment the movie is aiming for a Christmas 2013 release in the US.  However, this could mean Japanese fans would have to wait until 2014 before the movie hits Japanese cinemas.

“I’ve heard that the Universal wasn’t happy that there weren’t many scenes with Keanu Reeves in them, which is why they’re re-shooting some scenes.  Apparently the new version will feature more of Keanu while a lot of the samurai scenes will be edited out.  Rumour has it that this includes Akanishi’s scenes too.  He didn’t have many scenes to begin with so everyone’s worried about what to do if he gets edited out completely,” said one entertainment reporter.

 

It could spell trouble for Akanishi, who has had his fan club terminated, his US music career put on hold, and very few magazine or TV appearances.

“He’s becoming a person from the past.  When his jobs had been cut, he could’ve stayed in contact with his fans using his twitter or facebook pages, but he’s done nothing so far.  He will undoubtably get some media attention when Meisa has their baby in October, but if he continues on like this he will disappear.  At the moment it doesn’t look like Johnny’s is looking for jobs for him either,” said one source.

 

His wife and baby could motivate him to work, but the same source had said recently leaked photos of Meisa with another man might have hurt Akanishi’s feelings.

“Gossip magazine FRIDAY had published private photos of a woman with Kis-My-Ft2 member Hiromitsu Kitayama.  They’re old photos, but one of them shows the woman, who is supposedly Meisa, trying to kiss Kitayama who’s asleep in bed.  It might just be something that happened in the past, but I don’t think Akanishi would be too comfortable with seeing his wife with a Johnny’s talent his agency has been giving a lot of jobs to,” said the same source as above.
